I never ask myself, "Why I love you?"
Lines in your face leads me to kindness in your eyes.
Your smile shows strength of your inner self.
The tenderness in your voice allows me to see you love me.
Your gentle kisses heals my pain...
putting me first in everything makes me feel special.
A touch of your flesh against my bare skin "still" arouses me.
Your compassion during trials and tribulations soothes me...
giving your all to me and your children leaves me in awe.
You never complain eventhough I see pain in your eyes...
you provide and keep us secure during trying times.
Your love comes first in your families life.
You're a special man, one who deserves the stars and the moon,
one who deserves the sunshine to light your pathway in life.
A giver and never a taker,
a voice of authority but in a kind and gentle tone,
a great lover, my friend, my companion, my everything,
a loyal father and a friend to your children...
you're what "true love" is all about,
building our lives and foundation on love, faith, and hope.
Life is useless without you to keep my seams sealed,
I'm proud to be your wife,
the Mother of your children,
your companion, your lover, your friend.
God chose you for me and me for you,
you're the only love I'll ever know,
you'll be my love for all time,
never to be replaced or left out in the cold.
You'll always hold a place in my soul and heart,
"I love you now and for always."
