Poetry by Liana Margiva

Can you hear, Sky,
The screaming of the stars
Confessing their love
In dead of night
To thou, the great black void.

Their joyful twinkle
In the emptiness
Guides lonely souls
To their journey’s end.
They know not yet

The shortness
Of Sky’s love.
But clouds are aware
Of their dismal fate:
Tempestuous passion
They will never know.

Their fate is sealed
To block the way of stars
Who glow with love at night,
To take away their joy
By covering the sky
And yielding just to Sun.

The Sun will shield the pain
From prying eyes.
And stars will fall in love
With freshness of the rain,
Which will become their tears.

The happiness I know
Just from my happy dreams
I dream at night.
You hear, Sky,
The screaming of my soul,
The howling of my heart
In misery awash?

Just like the clouds
That lack love’s sweet abode,
My heart will never know
True affection,
And gentle rain
Will fail to wash away
The glaze of grief
That’s smothering my soul!

THE MOON AND STARS OF A NIGHT SKY IS NOT LOVE...IT IS A PRODUCT OF GOD'S LOVE FOR US...GOD IS LOVE AND ONLY THROUGH HIM CAN ONE RECEIVE THE LOVE THAT SOOTHES AND HEALS. THE SKY IS ONLY A REMINDER OF HOW GREAT HE TRULY IS AND OF HOW MUCH HE LOVES US. A VERY WELL DONE WORK...THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS. LOVE,

Liana,
Thank yo SO much for your comments on my poems. That means alot to me. Especially after I have read some of yours. What a wonderful touching poem. Your words touch me and insire me to slowly reach the depth and beauty of your poems. It may take time- but maybe if I keep trying at ome point I can reach my own depth of heart in my writing. However, my guess is the beauty of writing is that there is no end to the creativty and soul searching that writing can attend. It is always growing and develping. Is that what you have found?
With Love

This must read very beautiful in Russian. I took 2 years of the language but could hardly master the basics. Your beautiful, touching and sometimes sad poetry talks from a heart that has been shaped under a vast land of great Skies, expanses and emotions... Truly Russian and I am a great fan of Dostoyevsky.
I'll be back sometime, Michael Guy
