Once There Were Scars

ONCE THERE WERE SCARS ... ONLY THOUGHTS OF SWEET REVENGE

THEN REALITY COMES...GLAD WHEN ALL THE BITTERNESS ENDS

IF I WERE THE FOOL... IT WAS MY FAULT ONLY

CANT USE THE EXCUSE OF JUST BEING LONELY

FOR ME TO MOVE ON... I MUST FORGIVE

EVEN YOUR LIES SO NOW I CAN LIVE

SCARS NEVER GO AWAY BUT THE HURT IS SOON GONE

WITH NO REGRETS I GET TO MOVE ON

I'm so glad you said no regrets Ron! They do nothing but stifle creativity and make us miserable. I had to give up regrets too, and Ilearned to enjoy my life without worrying over the past! Excellent poem!...Eileen

A wise disposition taken, Ronald. Good advice for all who have been hurt this way. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you,

Excellent, as you so well put it, sometimes it is best to let go and simply move on, loved this,

Close the door and be conditioned. I know the drill and it works fine once you make up your mind to hit the floor running. You're going to be just fine. Put a name on misery and then slame that door Ron. Moving write.
