This is to my my mom she might not have given birth to me but she is the one that I will always call my mother and my best friend.

She there next to me
Standing strong
When I am in the darkest part of my soul
She standing there
Even though we where far apart
She was standing in my heart
Her smile can take the darkness away
She is my strength
She is my hero
The one who can always see past my act
Always knowing what to say
She stands next to me
She can see what’s in my heart
Like no one else can
Her hand reaches out
To help me to be what she knows
I can truly be
She stands next to me
She knows that I will fall
But she knows that I need to
Learn life’s lessons
But she is there to help me stand
She stands next to me
She is the one that has loved me
The good and the bad
She stands next to me
She is my Mom the one I turn to
My best friend the one that listens
To hear what I need to say
So I will always stand next to her
One day hoping to be there
To be strong like she has shown me how
