How Did You Do It, I Don’t Know
Yes, I saw you and you saw me
But how did you do that to me
We only met a short while ago
How you did it, I don’t know
I came your way to say hello
Seems so rude not to do so
But hello became so much more
As spirits inside began to soar
The sun shone bright
I’m sure it helped
A musical delight
The heart to melt
I’m never cold that much is true
But now I’m warm because of you
We only met a short while ago
How you did it, I don’t know
You warm my soul, another thing
That makes my feet begin to spring
My face to smile, it smiles so wide
My heart to sing so loud inside
So tell me lady how is it so
From your side I just can’t go
Inspired by one so gorgeous, true
Inspired by one, that one is you
You tell me that it could be me
That frees the soul and it may be
Oh how I’d love to make you feel
As I do, your heart I’d steal
So then let time together enjoy
Sweet Lady I and simple boy
But oh how time it goes so fast
When we’re together, why won’t it last
So how did you do it, I don’t know
To make this heart within me grow
I feel so good I feel so free
Long may it last this lady and me
