Gorgeous A - the inspiration behind my presence on this site got married on 2 May 2010 - to me (yeee haaa)

Oh gorgeous A your smile so bright
My heart does sing with pure delight
You gave me light where there was dark
I gave you a game on the football park

Oh gorgeous A your eyes so clear
My head you empty of any fear
You built me up when I was down
Placed a smile on this Geordie clown

Oh gorgeous A in a city of charm
We stroll together you link my arm
A city for lovers or so I have heard
A Geordie a lover? Oh come now – absurd!

Oh gorgeous A your lips are so sweet
My whole self yearns for when we meet
You showed me art where there was none
Water lilies? Upside down it’s a train

Oh gorgeous A I use inspire
To describe in me this wonderful fire
Inspired in deed in actions too
I’m truly inspired because of you

Oh gorgeous A, oh gorgeous A
You get more gorgeous every day
More gorgeous yet it can’t be so
Oh but it is, just see how you glow

Oh gorgeous A, not just your looks
A recipe so rare inside you cooks
Your thoughts, mind, principles too
I gleefully give myself to you

Oh gorgeous A a magic you’ve woven
I’m so delighted that me you have chosen
To share from here the rest of your life
To share one love as husband and wife

It's amazing how long love can last. After 44 years, I still consider my wife as my lovely bride. Problem is, as we move on together, one of us must pass before the other!
