Like the frog in the pot of water slowly being heated, we may not realize what's going on until it's too late.

Freedom goes softly,

you don't hear it leave.

It won't say goodbye

or tug at your sleeve to ask permission.

An additional tax?

Just to fill a few cracks in the

newdealgreatsocietyfairdealnewworldorder.

A new regulation?

To make us a nonpolluting, riskfree, colorblind,

sexblind, blind nation.

(And we spare no expense.)

But be careful what you do—

we'll sue

or put you in jail.

And be careful what you say—

you'll pay

through the n-o-s-e.

(Please remember that we know what's best for you.)

Let's suppose

you wake up tomorrow and freedom has fled.

My advice is

stay in bed.

This is absolutely GREAT...but don't expect too may comments...so many are 'carefulwhattheysay'...scared or unable to... or just plain 'don't wanna be outta the box'...thanks for this reminder to those of us with ears that will hear
