Pity the timid soul
who hides in a hole.
He will never see
VICTORY.
True, he may never taste defeat.
If you don't compete
you can't be beat.
Still, isn't it better to strive for a worthy cause
and fail,
than to spend your life
sorting your mail?

If you don't compete
you can't be beat.
I'm afraid that most of my competition has left me behind, but I do my best to compete! I truly enjoy our poems.
