I almost said it's time to end it all

Almost said there's no tomorrow

I just couldn't face the day

When I had to wake up lonely

When I had the wall to talk to

I couldn't even say

Don't walk away

Never ever had it in me

To turn around and say I'm sorry

I thought I was so strong

But you

With your grace and sweet forgiving way

Just smiled

Oh, how could I go wrong?

But there were always certain moments

When we sparked the fire

There were almost moments

When we touched the sun

We almost tried to walk on water

Almost made the spirits rise

There were always moments

When we were as one

If I've got to walk away now

Face another dark and empty day

Don't know if I'll survive

Without your warmth and love to cover me

It was you, yes you, who kept my soul alive

What a beautiful love story. We all need a someone, yet have to be strong without them, and remember what they gave.
