ILLUSIONS OF KNOWLEDGE – WE BELIEVE THAT WE KNOW

Science is about what we ‘think’ we know.

Religion is about what we ‘believe’ we know.

Philosophy is about what we do not know,

as well as the questioning of what we think and believe we know.

Art and technology are about how we express what we know

and what we are capable off.

Language and mathematics are about how we communicate

what we think and believe amongst ourselves.

Law is how we control, regulate, and discipline our dark sides.

Government and politics are about how we divide and corrupt ourselves.

Culture is socially learned patterns of behaviour.

In human terms, you can say culture is the manmade part of our environment. In general, it refers to human activity.

History is about what we believe, we, and others before us, had done.

Economics is about human ecology.

We must then always to bear in mind

That we do not own the earth and her gifts.

The earth is our mother.

What befalls the earth befalls all her children.

Everything we think we know, believe, and do

is based on lineal logic and tainted emotions.

However, lineal logic is an extremely poor model of cause and effect.

Therefore, our lives generate paradoxes that pure logic cannot tolerate.

Logic can often be reversed, but then the effect precedes the cause.

This generalisation has been an obstacle for

the psychological and biological sciences

since the time of Plato and Aristotle.

Atheists, as a rule, only rely on lineal logic,

and therefore never see the whole dynamic picture,

but always only the static version of reality.

Rationality and lineal logic are the Gods of the atheists.

They can never understand insight and inspiration.

Real love, not lust, is not an emotion.

Real love is a force, a power, for the good in us.

Our only hope for redemption is pure love.

Sex, without real love, degrade and soil us.

Love this earth as a newborn loves its mother’s heartbeat.

Hold in your mind the memory of the land,

as it was when we received it.

Preserve the earth for all children, and love it, as God loves us.

We are all part of the earth.

This earth is precious to us.

Finally, one thing we should always know and believe –

there is only one God.

This is a manifesto that summarizes your vision of the world and its inhabitants. This looks like a synthesis of so many years spent thinking, understanding, then questioning again. Certainly a very valuable work to share with us, no matter if the reader agrees with it all or not or part of it. It is remarkable.

I agree with Tinka, very wise words indeed, we should all take care of the earth and each other, as the earth has always looked after us,
and as for there being only one God I agree that as well, but does he really care what we call him?
thank yu for sharing, I really did enjoy reading this.

"ILLUSIONS OF KNOWLEDGE – WE BELIEVE THAT WE KNOW" flows from the fountain of knowledge on its way to the lake of wisdom, but - acquired pulleted concepts - and delivered a tray of ambrosias mixed with some chocalates to feed anti-intelligence, anti-science and anti-technology. The humanity in it is sublime, and I have enjoyed the reading of "ILLUSIONS OF KNOWLEDGE – WE BELIEVE THAT WE KNOW".

I wish that my comments be considered for thought's development. If for any reason the author or readers don't agree, or feel offended, please remove them.
