Alt Title: In Search of True Love |
|
a glance out the window
a prayer that you're there
a wish on a meteorite
through aurora borealis far
dreaming up wishes never to grant
head in the clouds of the dawn
memories ever eternally haunt
black and white photos behind every yawn.
a glance out the window
a thought as you leave
hold me, please hold me
your arms don't deceive.
watching you turn
your smile, your wave
always one more kiss do I yearn
I wrote you a sing song
something to hum
letting you know
my lovings never done.
eternally yours, forever times two
wishing and wanting
waiting for you....
a glance out the window
for a sign of you near
come to me, darling
banish my fear.
a glance out the window
at the fog of tomorrow
then the sound of your humming...
my heartstrings a'strumming
loving you always, near and/or far
dreaming up wishes for my falling star.

Heartfelt sentiment here Aki. Repeating the title at the beginning of the first second and fourth stanzas was effective. Happy New Year.
