That which is us together
be it now, be it always, be it never
keep me warm in night time chills
hold my heart prisoner 'gainst its will
take me close, in eyes of such soulful maze
and entrap me there in thy doleful gaze
and so in doing do i become prisoner weak
as to your expression do I, an answer, seek
but the plot uncoils and straightens most swift
and soon, in your kiss and embrace, I know thy drift
but too late do I feel such riptides of passion
I must be carried by such swells to reach heaven's stanchion
and there do we rest in eachothers embrace
victims and victorious in the great Lovers Race.
