Teatime With Jesus
There is a precious time each day
when Jesus calls my name.
He says, "I've waited long for you,
and I'm so glad you came."
"Everything is ready now,
the table is prepared.
I've blessings all laid out for you --
they're waiting to be shared."
"Come sit with Me and visit now,
we'll have a cup of tea.
We'll share what's in our hearts today,
and you will learn of Me."
A cup of tea, a time to share
sweet moments with my Lord.
We'll take a look in His great book;
my soul will be restored.
Then all too soon the moments pass --
I must be on my way;
but the warmth of Teatime with my Friend
will fill my cup all day.

|Wow, I just read this on your profile and had to come back here to comment on it. This is such a beautiful lesson to me, as I tend to be a "Martha" instead of a "Mary", and I truly needed this reminder that I need to just spend time in His Presence once in a while. I love it, thank you!|

|I feel what you are saying, I often sit to enjoy tea throughout the day and take my time to speak to my Lord up above. My Mom taught us to speak freely to Him and to remember He answers all prayers not always the way we want them answered, but we are to accept His decisions, for He knows what's best for us. Again thank you for youyr words.

|Bless The LORD, O my soul! Dearest Connie, your cup has splashed over onto me...
Thank you, Jesus...and thank you, Sister Connie! Most delightful and refreshing write!
I, too, set aside special times, like you, to share -just me and my LORD!!!
What a great stop this has been, Connie; my last of the night, for now, it's my time to "pray&stay", in His Presence, and give Him glory for getting us all safely through another day...and providing our every need, including our breath and heartbeat. You are in my prayers, too, now, as I regularly pray for ALL THE DENizens!
Thank you for serving up the best cup of tea, this side of Heaven!!!
Love & Hugs, Rhonda
