Miles apart, we've missed the little connections that strengthen the bond between grandma and granddaughter. Now she's hurting; what can I say to help her?
Did you know
that I think of you often?
Did you know
that I think you're "a peach"?
Did you know
I get lonesome to see you,
and I'd hug you
if my arms could reach?
Chelsey Constance, my sweet, darling grand-girl, life has blessings for you, you'll soon see; and I pray you will know that I love you; you mean more than the world to me!
So I'm sending my hugs there on paper--
Just for now, that's the best I can do--
when life seems the toughest,
Jesus and Grammy are lovin' on you!

|This is beautiful. I too feel the pains of being so far away from my grandkids. We just had our 3rd grandchild born monday, and oh what I would give to be able to see her. May God bless you every day of your life.

|Oh Connie I can feel your anguish and the sincerity in your broken heart. I pray she will hear your words no matter the miles in between...

|What a magnificent blessing you just gave to her, Grammy.. The power of the love of Jesus in you, for your beautiful grand-girl, will transcend the miles - and the paper it was presented on!
I'm sure Chelsey realizes what a genuine treasure she has in you, Connie.
Love to you both, Rhonnie
PS> Your blog was equally great - and I am thrilled your "kids" are planning a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for you & Bill. No two deserve it more! May 21, 2010 is a very Special Day. xoxo The LORD bless you with 50 more! :)

|This really touches close to home for me. I'm the granddaughter. I lived across the street from my grandmother for 9years, but moved 6hours away 3 1/2 years ago. How I miss seeing her each day. She's still the one I call when I'm sad & just hearing her voice is refreshing. Grandmothers are heaven sent!
May God Bless you Connie!
