They . . . Just . . . Don't . . . Know
Some people don't know that God made the first man
And they think that we came from an unlikely place:
That slime, or explosions, produced our first "dad,"
Evolving 'till one day, Voilà -- The human race!
Some people don't know that the Bible's God's Word
And they think it's a book like so many they've read --
Its laws are for fools and its stories are myths,
Just ramblings and fables from somebody's head.
Some people don't know Jesus died for the world
Because of His love for each woman and man.
They'd laugh if I said He is living today,
And His death for our sins was His Father God's plan!
"Since ancient times no one has heard,
no ear has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides You,
Who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him."
(Isaiah 64:4 NIV)

Truer words were never spoken. "Seek and ye shall find", but so many do not seek and then wonder why they don't receive an answer to their prayers. Being close to God, on a daily basis, seeking His face and delving into His words in the bible, will bring one a sense of peace not experienced before. A loving, caring write.

Praise the LORD, Connie-Girl!
What a fine and artful way to reach the lost! Great Scripture application!
My heart aches and breaks for them, too, Connie.. I was just telling Joe last night, It's hard to believe, but there are still thousands - maybe tens of thousands, or more! - in AMERICA - who have never heard the name of Jesus, let alone the other nations!
Yet, they all get told/taught in school about Darwin and other "isms", which are nothing more than man-made theories.
The pure grace of the Ancient of Days is to continue seeking the lost.. may we both be found worthy instruments in His hand, Sis.
Love you, Rhonnie |

Nice one, Connie. Deep! It's not surprising that they just don't know...Jesus said: "My sheep hear My oice, and I know them, and they follow me." Those who are not His sheep follow the voice of the "Pied Piper"... and we know where that leads.
Abundant Blessings,
Love and Hugs,
Lena |
