God’s Marine…
A Soldier and a Warrior
Went home the other day,
A Man of strength and courage
Who showed many God’s Abundant Way,
In the early days, my Mentor
And in the following days, my friend,
And in every day, a Warrior
And a Fighter to the end,
My friend is Ernie Browning
A man of compassion, and of heart,
Though a Cpl in the Marine Corp
He was a Colonel, in the Army of God,
His lessons on Spiritual Warfare
And his commitment to His King,
Follow him into Heaven
As a precious and Holy Thing,
An encouragement to his fellow soldiers
And a helping hand, to those in need,
His Prayers and his Words
Have blessed many souls and set them free,
So both in Man’s Armed Forces, and in God’s Great Army
He will forever be a Hero, and forever, God’s Marine…
