Can You See Them?
By: Elizabeth Dunaj
Can you see them? Can you see them? They're about due any time! Watch for them! Watch for them! Those little babes of mine.
They're precious little babes All five they are. Four girls and one boy, Oh! They can't be too far!
Can you see them? Can you see them? Blue eyed, brown eyes, hazel and green, Blonde curls, brown curls, Red highlights are seen.
I see them! I see them! Their smiles so bright! Oh hurry my dears I want to hold you all tight!
Let me hold you and hear all you say, You're the spring in my feet, joy of my life. I love you all best, Next to Grandma, my wife.
(This is about our grandchildren. Since this poem we have added another grand-daughter to our family in 2005. That makes six grandchildren...five girls and one boy.)

How sweet this is Elizabeth, and how well I know that feeling of anticipation of the happy little faces. I don't have grandchildren, but I do have grand nieces and nephews and I feel the very same way about them. Very nice poem.
Take care,
