Between Two Hearts

Between Two Hearts.

And time passes between as they wait

The distance between two hearts is only a smile

The distance between two friends is left to fate.

Chances are it‘ll still be a while

Anticipation plays on the sense

And the reality of you becomes infectious

Thus the meeting of two hearts is less tense

Now the passing of time and space seems spontaneous

The points connects to bridge the gap created by the spark

As the hearts see the distance can now be attained

A surrender of sorts as time leaves it’s mark

And the light at the end shines brighter because of what we’ve gained.
