There comes in a time in life when fighting back is all there is
When a cheek is turned a hundred times then a hundred times again.
When the benefit of the doubt has left the building, what is left standing?
A free standing overcoat of deception, rumor, speculation and sham.
Who can adorn a garment of so many shades of black, and remain steadfast?
If I were honest, I would say, not me. I haven’t mastered the ability, humility,
to reach the burned hand back toward that from which the fire spewed.
Fate knocks but it is not always wise to answer, sometimes the guise
is not destiny but doom in a coat of many colors.
And in its ruse we throw off the dark shroud in hopes and belief
the color offered so willingly, is a step toward newness.
Lion‘s purr and the hyena’s laugh, both deadly when you stand in trust eye to eye.
The struggle to take back the truth, that which was folded
neatly in your pocket, sometimes demands a deception on your part.
Your genius hand forced, can only lead to victory for the believers
who run for sanity and renewal on the other side of worth,
which will rebuild with Love, time and space.
And if the heavens are gift-ful in this turmoil, the illuminati will find
the hole they attempted to open, camouflaged for your final fall,
has their name burnt within the earth’s bottom.
Only then can the primary colors return with a vengeance, and a miracle

|Such words of wisdom where destiny is looked over for its truth or deception. I found it inspiring. Love it. Liz|

|Actually this is prose writing and is about Michael Jackson - he seems to be my new muse of late. He honestly will not get out of my head for 3 weeks now, he has brought back all my writing love and he has changed the way I write, it;s all about love now. I do still write the occasionally smart ass piece but thats just me, I can't let him take me completely over, lol! Glad you liked it. Some people don't like prose and I am being told on the 5 sites I am on that I have invented a new type of poetry. I have to laugh, all poetry is just that. poetry regardless how it falls on the page. By the way you make me feel proud to be a writer you know that? Thank you.|

|Kim... i found this a bit wordy but.......dead center, in the middle is this line"sometimes the guise
is not destiny but doom in a coat of many colors". and to borrow one of your poems' words, genius...really to me, it seems the whole poem is structured around this theme, line, begining and end..nice work
