My Love Is

My love is soft like white cotton sheets

Light like butterfly kisses

Pliable like warm earthy clay

Sweet like warm thick amber  honey

Wanton like the bees kissing flowers all day

Pure as the summer sunlight

Clear as crisp mountain steams

Devoted as the ocean caressing the beach

Sensual like a light wind stroking  bare skin

Passionate as the crescendo of a musical masterpiece

Eternal as the dark mysteries of the cosmos

Telling what love means to you lets us think about what love means to us. Eternal love is great and everyone should experience it. You said the right love words with this write and it is so refreshing to read a love poem like this with everything going on alright. God Bless you.

Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm you gone and define it sista. You have extraordinary images that make you want to stand at love's edge and stare into the cosmos for a lifetime just to see if there's love rather than life in outerspace. Excellent write!

I really like this poem! I like how the each line draws a beautiful picture, capturing what your love is like. A very visual poem!
