Become a Fan

My heart is blind to love

It pours out gently weeping

upside down & thinly cracked

I fear it cannot hold you

In the broken mirrors of a past

Best believed as bad fiction

Who I am is transparent

If only because I've become a ghost

Watching my own life slip away

What is left may just be a memory

A soft song lingering in warm summer air

That touches the moment & slowly fades

Forgotten so often, I hardly remember

Who I was before fear

Emotional and wondering write. After reading this...I felt the words came from a person whom lost a tremendous love in their lives...and felt they could not go forward in love ever.
