Like little newspaper clippings

Tidbit facts lay out haphazardly

Piecemeal stories & dream scraps

I give the truth of what I see of me to you

Just maybe, baby…just maybe

We lean over the table of fluttering

Memories to share our experiences

Exchanging perceptions like trading cards

To see if such a wager is worth the gamble

Just maybe, baby…just maybe
