In June, the jacaranda tree
steals heaven’s blue,
and drops it at our feet
And hearts turn tenderly
to that first Spring – when,
through starlit depths of space and time
we touched down, joyful, in this place –
And here we stand,
between this dream, and that,
of bliss unending,
taunted by a jacaranda tree
to walk once more on heaven.
