Forever Memories, Extinguished Dream

Flooded with dreams,
The playground of my mind
Dancing on energy fueled by a drink.
While riding hope and anticipation .
Unfulfilled dreams live a lifetime.
Reality ends the gift of dream's anticipation.
Leaving behind an emptiness,
The powerful seduction gone.
Ah, the dream of the first kiss,
An immeasurable and indescribable dream,
Ends awkward in reality's experience.
The dream gone, the memory remains.
Reality either leaves behind,
Marvelous memories from the moment,
Or a painful emptiness and loss,
From no long possessing the dream.
Yet on a rare occasion,
Reality is greater than the dream..
Endless memories of a moment
That can fuel a life forever.
Filled with overwhelming gratitude,
There's was only one reality greater than a dream.
It was passionately, undeniably, overwhelmingly,
The marvelous reality of you.
