You don't know me

This is simply how I felt in this moment

You don't know me
where I've come from
the things I've seen
what I've heard
or who I've known.

All you see is what I allow
and I have found ways to hide myself.
I am tired of being hurt
and watching everyone else play games.

I want you and I want nothing
I love you and I love nothing
I hear you but I hear nothing
I feel you but yet I feel nothing.

I am numb to the warmth of the sun
but I smile as if I feel it.
I feel no emotion
but I laugh on cue.

I hate sleeping alone
but I don't want to be held anymore.
I crave the darkness
but I leave the lights on only to look upon your face,
hoping to find hope

I will never find happiness
feel loved
give myself to anyone completly
or think there is any good left in this world

My cold hands caress your face
you are so warm
my cold heart loves you
you are so giving

You satisify the motions
you justify my life
you cradle me
you proclaim your love

I only know myself
and I would rather be certin of who I am than to guess at who you are.
