Gas providers really have us by the you-know-whats, even if we don't have a set. We have no choice in the matter. We have to get to work. With prices so high, taking a drive just for fun isn't very realistic anymore. My hubby and I used to love going further north in NH to take in the fall foliage. Great poem, Liz! A good reflection of the times we live in! Love and Hugs:)
