Dangling

Who knows what was going through my mind...

Dangling

Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong,
Ding dong, ding
Who could be ringing my
Doorbell so rudely
Enough incessant noise to drive
Me crazy
I looked out the peek hole
And who did I see?
A nobody
Ding dong, ding dong ding
I was standing right there
But I was not expecting anybody
Probably wanted to enlighten me about
Some religion
That is popular in this region
Well, the sooner I open the door
The sooner I can go back to doing
What I was before…

lol:) I have a sign on my door - a poem I wrote for just such an occasion. It works. Haven't been bothered by them since. Love and hugs,

Hey it could have been the Publisher's Clearing House Prize guy! For me, coming to the door with a beer in hand solves most of the religious door inquiries. Patrick

Whatever it was you were doing before, you have to deal with the people on the other side of your door to get back do doing what you were doing before. Haha!!
