Forever is a lone time, in any direction

Lou and Jim shooting Pool, June 2004

Moving into the largeness of the Universe,
Measured by the speed of light
Distant stars billions of years ago
The same as the smallness of the molecule
To the atoms and to strings
Must be looking into the future.
If looking into the universal past to the big bang,
A concept of catholic origin,
Is seeing God creating the Universe,
Then looking past the atom
Past the nucleus of the atom, even beyond that
Matching the distance in relation to an unthinkable distance of a billion light years,
Not even a tenth of the way to the big bang,
To a measure which is seen as looking into the future.
How small is a billion light years into the future?

Well, if you believe voodoo fundamentalism, there is no such thing as billions...they think it all was created 5,000 years ago. ROFL

Thoughtful work. Einstein believed that all times coexisted and that time was not linear, but curled in on itself. You've captured the essence of his theory in this work.

Best,
Elizabeth
