A poem about dad

Trust, they call it trust,
That trust called boy
I ride and rein a metal insect
Pulling a jagged broken leg of metal
Turning lines of dirt, deep lines
In Oregon highland's desert heat
Chasing trails of sweat
Down the sweet brown boy chest
Pulling and clutching
The noise and dust
Swirling and pounding
Around a quiet thin boy
Who stops to stare
Across a wide Valley
To another plateau
At his insect father
Yelling orders at other kids
Down a slanting field
Two miles away
Above an Eden watered canyon
Full of shade and grassy fields
And troutdeerporcipinesrattlesnakes
The big man swarmed with frustration
Two miles of clear clear air away
The boy has stood for many years
Alone staring at his father's fire
That burnt his inside black
