Missing out on the rewards of relationships.

Teeming

A tall
slender willow
hangs its golden
long tresses
stands against
a strong
long-tree friend
allowing it room
to grow
and extend
stretching high
sky-scraper hands

We miss the cues
walk out of step
without the rudimentary
skills of friendship
companionship
team-players
and partners
in relationship
