Human Potential has its Shadow.

Apex of Achievement

"And the mountains
and background
lit up
just like it was daylight!"

The blast
The flash
The mushroom cloud
The people
Pulverized rubble
A charred pile.

The world spectates:
The wonder of our intelligence
Can now blow up planets!?

So true and scary about the coming world events. Hopefully all will be at peace and find peace and learn to get along together. Prayers are with you for such fine religios poetry too. Lois C.

This poem brings a question to strike mankind's good sense in social and historic responsiblity as the closing line of this magnificent teleological poetic-grand.

Keep posting, Poet!
