Daniel McTaggart's challenge is to poetize a random word from the dictionary. My finger fell on a strange word, "Chorion."

Chorion – (kor e ON) the outer membrane enclosing the embryo of reptiles, birds and mammals.

Picked at my red-veined sky,

‘Til passageway did pry,

Portalized with a pipping stone,

Escaped confines of chorion.

Light sluiced into lucid view,

I drew a sip, to warmth imbue,

Saw my chorion dome replaced

With a new blue, chrome laced.

I emerged on an azure egg,

And my journey began first leg,

My eyes on the prize, tease afar,

Portalize chorion and seize a star.

Well done, my friend! Always nice to see a friendly answer to a friendly challenge. Nice going. I especially like the line about how light sluiced. Giving light a liquid quality was a superb touch. Once again, outstanding!

Great response to the challenge! I use a similiar approach. I pick up to six words randomly while quickly browsing through a book. Then I figure out a poem to go with the words.
