Teachers appreciation day gift for Mrs. Donna Edwards, 2nd & 3rd Grade teacher, Pride Avenue School, Madisonville, Kentucky.
All the young lives you have touched,
Have been written on God’s eternal scroll.
Countless faces without names,
Precious memories stored in your soul.
The call of time has taken them,
And sent them on their way.
Each learned something new,
In some very special way.
Tears of sorrow and tears of joy,
Well-up every now and then.
As sweet memories race back,
To a little smile and a big grin.
You have meant the world to some,
Some have meant the world to you.
As you gave them a gift of knowledge,
Their mind and world greatly grew.
Thanks; is such a meaningless word,
With all that you have done and shared.
Our lives are worth so much more,
Because you showed us you cared.
Many fond memories we have stored,
In that special place in our heart.
Always know you touched our soul,
In this we shall never part!
Thank You Mrs. Edwards
