Inspired by a poem in November 2004, a month later, December 2004 a Tsunami struck Asia

Cast out are the ripples far, far away,
spreading out to an ocean's sandbox to play.

Comes a shimmering fury of nature's own wrath
to reduce them to nothing along now a new path.
Still, a glimmer of hope, although wavers as one,
to continue the journey it set out originally on.
Now bound by the depths of the ocean's wide arc
waits for the right moment, the calm of the dark.
Each wave it now crosses shall go to great lengths
as the ripple prepares to test all of its strengths.
By the first light of dawn shows the way is quite clear,
for the sandbox does call to the ripple so near.

Cast out from an ocean far, far away,
the ripple has found a new sandbox to play.
