A Nice Rainy Day"

March 1, 2007...A day in the life of Kimmy Van Kooten
This really happened today...

Today started quietly, a nice rainy day . . .
One in bed I’d like to stay!
Peace within and throughout the land . . .
Then the kids called up, requesting a hand

In the car and off I went
Two toddlers strapped in and all is meant . . .
So, I drove to the school to pick up three
and that funny little noise didn’t even bother me

Heading on down that old back road
Something was wrong, from whence I goed
Off to the side, I had a flat!
...and the skies were raining those dogs and cats!

Called my honey, my rescue Bud...
My poor baby was just a layin’ in the mud
The little one begged, he had to flow
So off to the woods, Oh here we go!

Don’t drop your drawers, that’s too far down!
We’re on the highway so, just pull it out!
Well in those moments, of my wee ones flash,
I can tell ya right now that stream didn’t last!

I heard him scream, ANTS! , ANTS! , MA! , Ah!
Then we both started dancing some funny little cha cha cha!
Stripped him silly, not but one did bite!
And there I’m stomping with all my friggin’might!

Today started quietly, a nice rainy day . . .
One in bed I’d like to stay!
Peace within and throughout the land . . .
Sorry, hear the phone? , Nope! I be jammin’ with the band!

Rainy days and Mondays, in this case, Fridays...things are bound to happen. What's amazing, the ants in that particular place at that precise time. I'm glad all is well. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Hugs,

This gives the expression 'ants in your pants' a whole new meaning.

funny Kimmy Van Kuttie, go read my poem zip, maybe you should keep a jar, in the car, hehe. and the band, I can understand, hey what's this "One" in the bed, just joking Kimmy. Maybe one in the car, a big mass of muscle to change your tire or maybe beat off those ants, before they reached your pants, with those little cameras to send out pictures, hehehehe

Oh Kimmy, I was enjoying this write until I got down to the ANTS and the BITE! Poor little fellow! What a shock to him and his "what-not"! Hope they're both okay!

God Bless

Showing a funny-bone aren't we?
I am envisaging you stomping on some scared bugs like a squaw doing a rain dance.
Kimmy, you make me laugh!

That's what I like about real life humor. It's better than the stuff you make up. Better ants than gators, eh?
