April 15th is a taxing day...

Taxes in on April fifteenth
That is what I always
Associated with this day
But I got a photo from my dad
And it made me rethink
About this day in a new way
Seven inches of wet snow
Dumped on his city
I could not believe it
It sure is pretty
But enough is enough
Of this white watery stuff

Oh what I would give for just a day to play in it!
I miss the snow, just not the cold that goes with it!
Taxes are done on my end and it only took me a whole month! Ugh!
Love and Peace~

I know you are ready for spring; but personally, I'd much rather have snow than severe weather/tornadoes. :) Think about it. :) (Live in Texas, no basements here, and we run the risk of tornadoes. Not good when there's no place for shelter!)

Good write, Lynn; the photo is pretty! I have always loved snow/winter! I miss it here in Texas, I really do!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

I am more than ready to go back to Ohio! :)

OHHHHH!! Pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow, a slight risk of severe thunderstorms. AGAIN. I'd rather have snow.

As for taxes, mine done a long time ago: spent just as quickly!! LOL

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Thanks Regis, but the photographer is "Ray" Axelson, my dad...Ron Axelson and I believe we are distant cousins somehow and it was his last name on one of his sketches here at the den that brought us together at authorsden. HEY RON!!!!

Sweet. Snow can soothe the pain of reality, Lynn. Great pic by Ron too. Love and peace,
