At a time like this
We need the Lord to
Help us, at a time

Find some consolation.
I lived through the death
of Emmitt Till.
It was a time I had
to learn to beware.
Even of my white cousins.
Today we live through
the death another of
our innocent babies.
Trayvon Martin.
Another Emmitt Till.
Innocent and dead!

| YOU ARE SO RIGHT, LOUISA. I DON'T KNOW ALL OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THIS INCIDENT IN fLORIDA, BUT THIS I DO KNOW - WHATEVER HAPPENED, TRAYVON, WHO HAPPEN TO BE WEARING A HOODIE AND ONLY HAD A BAG OF SKITTLES ON HIM AND WHO WAS FRIGHTENED BECAUSE HE WAS BEING FOLLOWED BY A WHITE MAN AT NIGHT THAT DIDN'T IDENTIFY HIMSELF, DID NOT 'DESERVE' TO DIE! IF ONLY THE OVER ZEALOUS WATCHMEN WITH A GUN HAD 'LISTENED' TO THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE 911 OPERATOR AND 'NOT' FOLLOWED THE BOY. MY HEART ACHES EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT IT AND I AM JUST WAITING TO SEE WHAT WILL BE THE FINAL ANALYSIS OF THIS TRAVESTY. I SYMPATHIZE WITH TRAYVON'S MOTHER. THIS IS SO HEARTWRENCHING AND SO VERY SAD! THANKS FOR SHARING, LOUISA. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS |

| I never had a child but my heart is heavy. I've been shot at as a child in 1954. I can imagine the pain of the parents in 2012. |
