God Searches our Hearts

Do we really think we're hiding from everyone; that no one will know who we are. Think again, my friend; you are never alone

We all carry our load of skeletons,

Each is a horror in it’s own right,

But consistently taking them all to Jesus,

He alone can make our burdens light.

As our heart’s cry seeks only Jesus,

The power, the grace sufficiently can

Erase the sins of compassion

Erase all our sins within.

Diligently seeking the way of Jesus,

No problems, trials will be too hard to bear,

For in His purging, He’s constantly changing,

Our flesh to grown, with His care.

To be grafted in the Vine of Jesus,

As dross, the old flesh (man) must flee,

As we diligently comply, give our all to Jesus,

Our hearts will truly know peace.

Though we have trials and temptations,

Though satan says we are all wrong,

Daily bearing our cross, we look only to Jesus,

Our faith in His hands, He shows us how to belong.

“God searches Hearts”, is His promise,

The flesh will one day disappear,

The robe of righteousness we’ll be awaiting

Awaiting that reunion ion so sincere.

Carrying the cross daily for Jesus,

The purging is nothing to be compared

For the joys we one day be a reality

Jesus helped us through death’s door with His loving care.

That we are truly grafted in the Vine, Jesus,

The dirt won’t be a care,

Our souls will soar to Heaven

To be with our Savior forever there.

To sing His praises in Glory,

Such visions so precious to declare,

For our hope is truly in Jesus,

Death has no dominion when Jesus is there.
