Unrequited love is something that stays with a man, it haunts a man even after so many years...I really can't find the right words to explain this thing so I will let the poem explain how I feel about it.

Love unrequited, so much time wasted

Woman so splendid, what I always wanted

Heart that got busted, wouldn’t get mended

Too much expended, it ended before it started

Feeling so taunted, my mind is haunted

By the memories of my love unrequited

I feel this poem is not as great as the First Love poem. Mainly because of the "teds" and the "deds". There are too many of them, and when the poem is being read, it does not give a beautiful flow that is smooth.

However, please keep in mind that this is only my own humble opinion.

P.S. I write expressive unrhymed poetry most of the time.
