Nestled deep within the mangroves,
a young girl sits upon a worn pier.
Perched upon her curly auburn locks
rests her daddy's hat.
Adorned in a pinafore of red and
white, her hazel eyes sparkle as her
daddy reels in his catch from
Smokehouse Bay.
A sunny afternoon, long remembered,
captured in times eye.
Hazel eyes twinkle in the woman's
eyes, a gentle smile plays upon
her lips as she gazes in fond
remembrance of photos of yesterday.
