SO SAD

What makes me feel so sad is seeing,
Wide eyed children of different races,
With their big bellies, skinny limbs,
And such sad, pityful faces.

Not really knowing when,
They'll get their next meal,
In this so called wonderful world,
How could this be for real!!

All over the world people are starving,
Even in our own U.S. of A.
The rich stay rich and the poor get poorer,
Guess it's always been this way.

But why!! we ask, isn't something done,
To make our world a better place,
Instead of spending all those BILLIONS,
Exploring the WORLD OF OUTER SPACE?
