I am humbled by these words Joyce. We often take God's love for granted and this poem expresses how precious His gift is to all of us. The most precious thing we will ever possess and it is free for all who will humble theirselves and ask for it. I have read most of your work here and I beleive this is one of the best! If I had to choose just one persons writings to read, it would surely be yours because you write straight from your heart and that to me, that is the best way! I feel blessed to be able to read good spirit filled poetry here at your den.
Blessings & Peace,
Linda Wells |

Joyce, your gift is a lock heart shapped that you will wear, as you said, to life's end.
What is inside of that lock, what has been put there, from love to secrets is what makes its worth.
I should thing yours are priceless.

You are absolutely right. I often remind myself that I wake up not to myself but to the author of our lives - God. The Psalmist could write that God sustains us while we sleep. He also writes that our times are in His hands.
As a lay speaker, I often, with sensitivity, remind congregations that the hour of salvation is now, not tomorrow for we do not know what tomorrow brings.
Your morning thought has acted as my morning devotional, Joyce, thanks for sharing.

A beautiful gift indeed, Joyce. Treasure it with all your heart; for there is no other like it. It breaks my heart when folk don't respect this precious gift and treat it as if it is theirs to do with it as they please. When some stupidly end it, I wonder what they think just before the end. I really appreciated this write, my friend, straight from your heart to mine, and others, too. Thank you!
God Bless
