This poem reminds me so much of a scene from "Little Women" - the part when they bring their Christmas dinner to the sick their mother is tending. You have captured the true meaning of Thanksgiving in your actions and your words!

|Around this time of the year, we are all faced with many thoughts and feelings, but I especially like this time of the year because I'm like a kid. Whether I will receive presents or not it doesn't matter, but I love to give to make others happy. That is my Christmas!
Thanks so much for your wonderful e-mail about the children! I have sent you a e-mail in return! Please keep me posted!
Love you all,
Sandie May Angel :o)

|Joyce, your heart truly shines through in this beautiful heart rendering poem. God's children shares with those who don't have and God blesses us plenty because we do it. A wonderful writing! I'd rather give any day than to receive.|

|To share is all part of the rejoicing in the eyes of God. For all who have helped me and my children through very lean years the favor is returned ten fold and passed on to other in need. Beautiful writing Joyce...

|Joyce I love that tradition something I may have to borrow from you, Lord knows there are many deserving families around here that could use that little basket of food

|Joyce, this is a wonderful tradition. Think I'll check out my neighborhood and see what I can share. Our local grocery store has such a program, already gave them my turkey, but now am inspired to take it one step further.
After my Dad died, our church brought us a Christmas basket of food, but included a lipstick for my Mom. She still remembers this token [the lipstick] of love.
God bless you. Kathy
