This is really a good write Joyce. Even though my mother and I never got along, and she just didn't want to understand, I still miss her and I wish she was still here. But every now and then I feel her with me as I am sitting here typing. You have painted a very good picture of a memory that lasts and lasts. Thank you for sharing.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your den sister, Barbie. |

A very lovely work, Joyce.
Just goes to prove that when you hold someone dear in your heart, they're never really ever gone.
And the older I get, the more I cherish my many memories of days gone by.
Thank you for stirring up a heap more!

Some people's spirits are forever bound into the atmosphere and even the bricks and mortar of a place, aren't they, Joyce? I'm not into ghosts, but I can heartily identify with this: there was one day in particular, probably about a year or so after my mother's death, I kept "seeing" her everywhere... I have no idea why. It's just a tangible way that we can know for sure that the human spirit lives on. A comforting account. Bless you, Kate xx

I see homes like this & my heart cries as I know there must be a reason why things are left unattended...empty flower beds
ivy growing everywhere...It's a sad feeling, "I Thought I Saw You Today..." reaches inside the heart...
