Angela, you've written a beautiful poem--and considering it is your first, you did an extraordinary job.
You've shown us that instead of reaching inside ourselves to where the turmoil dwells, that we must reach out into the universe, in the sky, the trees, in the beauty of God's nature.
I think the phrase, "Change the direction of your thoughts, and you'll change the direction of your life," is a good summary of your lovely poem. |

While this may have been the first poem you have ever written, it is obvious that the words were within you, needing only the urgency of life to bring them to the surface in expression.
I note that in May of this year you reviewed my poem Be Still and Hear My Voice. Angela you and I share the same open secret: We are never alone. God is everywhere.
In my short story You and Me, Kumeyaay Indian McKinley Clearwater expresses another truth we share when he prays, "I am with You, and You are with me."
You have brought to all a great truth: We are one with God. All we need do is "Listen and Be Free."
For all with an open heart, this is an empowering message!

Hi Angela,
God is truly great. Happiness and joy can be found within once we stop looking for them outside of ourselves...I spent years trying to get acceptance and love from a mother who abandoned me, family members who didn't care about me and from a husband who tried to obliterate me..but they could not defeat my spirit. Like you a life threatening disease brought me to terms with whose I am. Once we tap into the power and might of God, nothing or non one can stop us. Keep sharing your awesome gift sis and thanks for your support. In God we are mighty and can do anything. Remember we have His DNA and His bllod running through our veins...don't we now? Be Blessed always.
