I wrote this for my mom.



I love you for your beautiful smile..

I love you for the joy you bring into my life..

I love you for the hugs you give..

I love you for the way you treat others..

I love you for being you..

I love you for your loving Spirit..

I love you for bringing me into this wonderful world..

I love you just the way you are..

Thank you mom for loving me..

Too often we [I] forget to tell my Mom how much I love her and all that she's done for me. I've written her a poem, but she won't see it until Christmas. This is a loving tribute to your Mom.

O, Angela, this is beautiful! You are so blessed to still have your mom; I lost mine 17 years ago at the age of 59 1/2. She would have been sixty in May '90; she died in March of that same year. I still miss her as much now as I did back then; I just can talk about it without falling apart, but holidays and the anniversaries of her birthday (May 5) and death (March 17, St. Paddy's Day) still make me depressed and make me want to cry. Be good to your mom while you still have her; that's what I tell people when they tell me about their moms because I no longer have mine.
