It looked dark
three steps to a puddle,I walked.
I reached the edge of a height.
Where I saw a man jump, chewed by pounding desperation.
Only the day before with some friends
on a boat,my oar had sank.
I feared the fire running before the wind.
I panicked and searched the doors
like everyone would have done.
And I ran thru the digital halls and stained ceilings.
