Olympic is  on the way to Beijing,

the golden flame of the fire

is bouncing eagerly like a hard jelly-ball,

to which any kids will joyfully run after.

Flags will be raised and anthems

will explode from the loudspeakers,

eye to eye, heart to heart,

all nations shall take their part

to try bring home the glory of gold,  silver and bronze

if not, just  the fun of participation for coming together as one

singing songs of friendships and love.

Olympic is on the way to Beijing,

the immaculate dream of the water

is flowing naturally like a mountain spring,

over which any white doves will soar.

Voices will be heard and the blood

will penetrate the barbed-wire walls,

freedom to freedom, justice to justice,

all deprived people shall find their peace

to try ease their bruised mind that is being

threatened by guns in between the breaths of

their peaceful meditations.

Oh, Yes! thank you for the reminder, Roshan. A wonderful time for young people to gather to honor their countries in a peaceful manner. Would that we could carry the spirit of the Olympics throughout each and every year...for the sake of ALL Mankind! Appreciate you and you inspiring poem. Thanks!

Micke
