My helper.........


    An interesting morning quiet and peaceful,
         began as any other day of the week.
      Woke up as usual began cleaning cages,
       my helper decided to come over to seek.

     Herculana was back in her little blue cup,
           her babies exposed a picture taken.
       In a separate cage to protect the young,
       Herculana settles down quite unshaken.

          She will sit for hours chirping a tune,
    drawing the attention of the others around.
          Alex will peek into Herculana's cage,
      Zues dives down until hitting the ground.

       Zues chimes in with his soothing tunes,
  until Alex finally turns her attention to him.
            Moving closer Zues will jump up,
           all three singing to blend, chime in.

         The other two kitties are out of sight,
    but are clicking, talking and singing along.
      Find it so amazing, what an orchestra
                                 we have,
    three kitties, two parakeets harmonizing
                                   in song.

Herculana still keeping her four babies warm,
     pops her head up to keep watching it all.
           Alex keeps moving back and forth,
     between the two cages, hearing their call.

 Always amazing to watch how they interact,
 talk and visit, what goes through their mind.
 Do they even know they are kitties and birds,
      different species, not of the same kind.
