This is a Love Poem about what really matters when we're together. |

You pick out what to wear,
Though it doesn’t really matter,
For I will always love you,
And that will never shatter,
You could pick your worst outfit,
Look in the mirror and say that it looks ugly,
But you know my reply,
“I think you look lovely,”
As a matter of fact,
Keep your hair a wreck,
We don’t need to go anywhere,
We could stay in bed,
And you could tell me your life story,
Throw your hopes and dreams upon me,
I have all night to listen,
So unlock your darkest secrets on me,
Now don’t worry about what you wear,
What you wear is not important,
What’s important is that I love you,
No matter your clothes,
Your hair,
Your story,
Chris Reed

Excellent Chris. It doesn't matter because you look in the heart, not what's outside. Real beauty comes from inside where the heart is. Loved this poem...
